Taan 1971
About Us
TAAN 1971 is a grassroots movement rooted in the belief that the most powerful histories often live in living rooms, in phone calls, in whispered memories. We empower youth to interview their parents, grandparents, and elders, before those stories disappear.
As time passes, so does access to firsthand memory. And in many cases, governments have erased, politicized, or buried documentation of what truly happened in 1971.
